The weather has been awesome this week. It is 78 and sunny today. It went from winter to spring in just a few days.
Tomorrow is April Fools Day and Bella's 7th Birthday :)
We still don't know anymore about Jason's job. It will probably be a year or so before AT&T actually buys T-Mobile.
Finley and I are still working on the one nap a day thing. She actually slept better the first 2 nights, but last night was rough.
I have a love/hate relationship with my hair color. I like my hair length. I've had it cut many different styles and lengths, but I just like it better long. My hair is naturally dark brown. I think I look better with some highlights, but then I see all these beautiful women with brown hair and I think that I should just die my hair back to my natural color. Then when I do that I regret it and then have highlights done again. It's really a vicious cycle and it happens over and over again! Help me!!
Only 1 more day until spring break, yippee!

Sunshine
It hasn't rained since Sunday! I forgot what it's like when it doesn't rain! The high today was 68 and it's supposed to be 71 tomorrow.
I think Finley is transitioning into one nap a day. I was thinking she is way to young for that, but I looked it up (yes! I forgot everything about babies even though she is my 3rd) and most babies drop their morning nap between 12 and 18 months. So starting today we are going to test different times and see which one will work best for Finley. I'm excited because two naps take up a big chunk of our day, but I'm also a little sad because that is one more thing that shows she is no longer a baby. Hopefully only one nap a day means she sleeps better at night, but I'm not going to hold my breath.
Jason and I watched the series finale of Big Love last night and what a terrible ending! When there was about 15 minutes left I told Jason that it doesn't seem like they can wrap everything up in this episode, but they did and I hated it.
The only exciting thing that happened today is that the plumber came and fixed the toilet in the hall bathroom.
Next week is spring break and I can't wait!
Here are a few pictures from yesterday.
One of Finley's new things she can do is climb on the chairs and the table. This morning she climbed up and took one of Bella's poptarts.

The weekend :)
Friday it quit raining for a little bit so Finley and I got out of the house. We went to Target because I need to go at least once a week. If someone gave me $10,000 and said you have to spend it all in Target today, I could do it in a heartbeat! I love Target! Anyway, after I picked up Bella we got smoothies at Jamba Juice (the man!) and then picked Tyler up from school.
Here we are at Target trying on headbands
We bought this one ;)
Loving that smoothie
Saturday we grabbed some lunch and then I dropped everyone back off at the house so I could go get my hair cut and colored. It was needing it big time! It is a little lighter than I wanted, but it will grow on me.
This is what it it usually looks like when I come home from somewhere and Jason has stayed home with the kids. It also looks like this on Sunday mornings too because I sleep in and he gets up with Finley. It's definitely worth it on Sundays!!!!!
I also went to Michaels for the first time on Saturday afternoon. I'm not sure how that's possible, but it's true. Tyler has a project to do so we had to get some supplies. I will definitely go back, they have so much stuff! Nothing I really need, but just fun stuff to do.
When I first started blogging I posted almost everyday. It was new and fun and I loved it. I still do love it, but I realized that my life is really really boring especially when it rains 10 days straight and we can't get out of the house. There is a chance of rain tomorrow, but it's finally supposed to clear out and warm up on Monday.
Bella's birthday is Friday and Jason's dad, step-mom, and brother (or as Bella calls then PB&J for Peepaw, Barbara, and Jamie!) are coming next Saturday so I should have some adventures to write about next week.

This and That
Bella started basketball Tuesday after school. She really likes it but I'm not sure if it's because she is learning about basketball or because she gets to play with her friend for an extra hour.
Here are Tyler and Finley playing at Bella's practice.
She was petting his head!
Tyler started guitar lessons yesterday. We also signed Bella and Tyler for soccer for this fall. I think every year it gets earlier.
Today is the 8th straight day of rain and it has been pouring all day! I think it's supposed to rain tomorrow and Saturday too and then finally start clearing up Sunday.
I found these pictures on my phone and I guess Bella took them. I wish she would have used a different app because the one she used makes it blurry around the edges, but I love them. I never know what I might find on my phone after Bella has played with it. Usually she takes movies of herself, but sometimes she takes really good pictures.

The bedroom
Tyler and Bella were out of school yesterday so Bella and I cleaned her room. I use the term Bella and I loosely because she maybe picked up 2 toys and put them away then she was off to play or bother Tyler or watch TV. So I will just go ahead and say that I cleaned her room. It's been needing it for a while, but she totally destroyed it over the weekend. She has so much stuff it's really ridiculous. I actually started Sunday afternoon. I was trying to throw some stuff away and organize a little bit so she would know where all her toys were. She is such a pack rat. When she was younger she would actually get stuff out of the garbage can. She loved receipts. I would find tons of them stuffed where ever she had space to stuff them. She is not quite as bad anymore, but she still wants to keep everything and has a really hard time parting with any toy, even if she hasn't touched it in years. Her favorite excuse is that we should keep it for Finley and then I have to say I doubt that Finley will want this crappy Iron Man 2 toy from Burger King five years from now.
Before
The hallway to her bedroom. I have no idea what she was thinking when she just threw a bunch of toys out there. Bella really does think that every room in the house is her room and she should be able to have her stuff there.
No ones room should ever look like this!
I still don't know how she slept on that bed Sunday night!
After
That is Finley rolling around on the bed.
We actually had to put this toy cubby out in the hall because there is no space for anything else in her room!
I did throw out 2 bags of old toys and random papers that she kept for some reason. I should probably be to embarrassed to post these pictures, but she keeps her room pretty clean 90% of the time. About every three months she gets a wild hair and has to pull everything out.
After I got everything cleaned up I had to threaten her. I told her the next time I walk in here and it looks like this I'm just going to get a garbage bag and start throwing everything away. I've said that way to many times so I'm sure she doesn't believe me, but next time I might just do it!

Our weekend
It was cold and rainy ALL weekend, so we didn't do much.
We got out Saturday for lunch and to get Jason's haircut.
Yesterday we got pizza and then went to the grocery store. You know, real exciting stuff. I'm just glad it quit raining long enough for us to get groceries.
We also found out yesterday that AT&T is buying T-Mobile. We have no idea what that means for Jason's job right now, but hopefully we will know more in the next few weeks.
Yesterday was the first day of spring, but it feels like winter here. The high this week is 55 and it's supposed to rain everyday. I'm definitely ready for spring. I love the winter, but since we lived in the desert the last two years I'm not used to this weather. I just hope we have spring here and it doesn't go from 55 to 95 in one week. I really wish it never got warmer than 80. That would be perfect!

The teeth are finally out
I hope everyone had a great St. Patty's day!
Here's Bella in her green shirt (before the teeth extraction) :)
Last night was stressful. Bella's 2 bottom front teeth have been loose for a while now and her permanent teeth were starting to grow in behind them so they had to come out. It took us an hour and a half to get them out, yes an HOUR AND A HALF! Not because they weren't loose enough, but because Bella was scared to death. I know it's her first teeth to come out, but you would think after Jason got the first one out the second would be a breeze, but NO! It only took 30 minutes for the first one, so it took an hour to get the last one out! Every time Jason would grab it, she would jerk back and he would have to start all over again. I hate messing with loose teeth. It looks so gross to me and it kind of makes me cringe, but Jason was about to lose his cool with her (he just got up and walked out) so I told them I would try. Guess what, I got it out in like 2 seconds! Of course the whole time Finley was crawling all over us and wanting to see what was going on. She would open her mouth and we would act like we were working on her teeth. She is definitely going to be the brave one! The tooth fairy came and visited Bella and left her $5! Hopefully we are done with teeth for a little while.
One down, one to go.
She is saying cheese in case you can't tell :)
Bella was super excited to go to school today and tell her teacher so she can finally be on the tooth chart. She was the only kid in her class that hadn't lost a tooth!
I also wanted to say a big thanks to Louisville and St. Johns for messing up my bracket. I had St. Johns in the elite eight. At least my final four are still alive!

This and That
It's parent-teacher conference week so the kids get out of school at lunch time. Today I had Bella's conference and she is doing great. I'm so glad that both Tyler and Bella have transitioned easily into their new schools.
Tyler also had a dermatologist appointment today. I think this doctor will get his face cleared up. He is going to take antibiotics for the next 5 weeks and if that doesn't work then he will take accutane. I fought acne for 13 years and it is not fun. The only reason my face is mostly clear now is because of accutane. Jason had to take it too. I feel so sorry for our kids. Maybe the girls won't have to worry about it.
I think everyone I know is either pregnant or just had a baby!
Finley had her first sucker today and she would not take it out of her mouth! Now no one will be able to eat a sucker around her.
Big News: I wore a dress for the first time since I was pregnant with Finley! I know no one cares, but my sister will be proud of me :)
After Bella fixed my hair :) Don't you love the blue flower clip?
Our faces twirled together.

14 months
Finley turned 14 months yesterday. I can't believe it! I'm also still amazed everyday at how much she has grown/learned/changed in the past 14 months.
things she loves:
running
dancing
cell phones
Cheez-Its (I'm still not sure how she eats these since she only has 2 teeth)
necklaces
music
babies (real ones)
doggies
books
kicking the soccer ball
being outside
making messes
her dad
climbing on everything
remote controls
She has 3 of her favorite things: Her cell phone and cheez-its (I know you can't see because she won't be still) and her necklace around her neck.
She also loves sitting on the ottoman
Climbing on her toy and beating the window (she is trying to bring back the one pants leg up and one down like L.L. Cool J!)
She is also an Auburn fan :)
