Thanksgiving!

I was so excited about Thanksgiving this year. It was the first one with our family in three years. Thursday we went to my parents house and Friday night we went to Jason's dad and stepmoms house. It was great to be able to spend the holiday with family again and the food was delicious!

Jason and I found out the sex of baby #4 on November 1st, but we decided to not tell everyone until Thanksgiving. I just thought it would be fun to tell when everyone was together. Jason and I are so excited that it's a boy! It's been a long time since we had a baby boy! Now it's time to pick a name which is always hard for us.
I used my awesome cake decorating skills for this one! I was going to make cupcakes, but it was just easier to write it on a cake. I also didn't want to mess up the peanut butter icing!

I got an iPhone Friday!

The Iron Bowl was Saturday and my team got their butts whipped :(

Yesterday we went to my niece and nephews birthday party. The were born on the same day 13 years apart!

I really want to finish my Christmas shopping this week.

Is it ever going to stop raining?

Here is what Finley got into this week.

On Monday we cleaned the house and this happened about an hour after we were done.
She climbed on the cabinet from the toilet and was filling her shovel with water.
Friday after I gave her a bath she got my makeup bag out and put on some mascara.
 Her second bath on Friday.
Bella's tower she built at Peepaw and Barbara's!

Lately

I am 21 weeks pregnant today so I am a little more than half way done. This pregnancy is going by so much faster than the other 3, but I guess that is how it feels when you don't find out until you are 9 weeks. I'm feeling really good, sometimes I get tired, but for the most part I feel great. We are telling everyone the sex on Thanksgiving so that will be exciting.
                                                        20 weeks pregnant!

The kids are out of school all week next week and I'm so excited. Homework gets old after a few months and we need a break from it, at least I do.

Basketball practice started this week. I don't know why I was thinking that we may have a little break between soccer and basketball. Tyler's practice is at the new Gardendale high school and wow, it is beautiful! Much nicer than the Gardendale high school I went to!

Tyler and Jason are going to the Alabama game tomorrow. The girls and I will probably just hang out at home. Jason and I are supposed to go see Breaking Dawn on Sunday!! I can't wait. I wanted to go last night, but it's just to much with having to get up at 6 the next morning and get the kids ready for school. I heard it is really good so hopefully we won't be disappointed. Well, Jason probably will be because he is not a Twilight fan, but he will make it.

Monday is family house cleaning day. That means EVERYONE is cleaning. Doesn't that sound like fun? The kids are so excited! Just kidding, but I have to prepare them in advance so they can get all the groans out ahead of time.

Here is a picture of Finley is Jason's cabbage. What 22 month old like cabbage? The smell alone is enough to make me gag, but she loves it.

22 months

Finley turned 22 months on Sunday. In two months she will be two!! I can't believe it. I don't know how the last two years went by so fast, but they did and it makes me a little sad.

She loves Dora now. That is the only show that she will kind of sit down and watch. She will watch Dora movies in the car and since we only have two I know them both by heart! We have some other Dora DVDs but they are packed up somewhere. I should really try and find those. She is talking more and more everyday and I feel like she has a pretty broad vocabulary. Of course Tyler and Bella are pretty big talkers so I'm really not surprised.

She loves being outside, eating spaghetti and fruit, and going in Tyler's room when he doesn't want her to. I also found out after Halloween that she got my sweet tooth and loves candy!

Lat night Finley tee-teed in the potty!!!  She had just got out of the bathtub and I hadn't put her diaper on yet so she peed in her bedroom floor, she came and told me that she did and I was washing Bella's hair so I told her I would clean it up in a second. Then I hear the toilet seat going up and when I look over she is sitting on the potty and she did it all by herself! She only peed a tiny bit because she had already got most of it out on her floor, but at least she is starting to understand it all and hopefully she won't be that hard to potty train.

                                        Hanging out with Bella
                                           She loves her daddy!
                                             Her second Halloween
This is what Finley always looks like after eating Italian food! On this night she was eating lasagna.

Soccer is finally over. Tyler's team lost Saturday, but he scored the only goal for his team. He was supposed to have a game on Sunday, but it was canceled at the last minute. I really enjoyed watching Tyler and Bella play this season and I will miss the games, but it will be starting again before I know it.

Now on to basketball. They both have tryouts this week and practice will start in a few weeks. I'm really looking forward to watching them both play, but especially Bella. This will be her first season to play. She did do a basketball camp at her school in California last spring, but it is nothing like being on a team and playing games. Hopefully she will like it as much as soccer.

All that has been talked about for the last two weeks was the Bama/LSU game and Jason got to go. He was technically there for work, but he got to stand on the sidelines of the biggest game of the year!

I plan on getting some Christmas shopping done this week. Every year I say I am going to get it done early, but I never do. I hope this is the year where I am done by December 1st!

Bella came home with a cold last Wednesday and Finley woke up with it on Friday and then Tyler woke up coughing and sneezing on Sunday. It's the kind of cold that hangs around for like 10 days. Finley is feeling much better, but she is still snotty. Hopefully by the weekend they will all be better and Jason and I won't come down with it!

I can't believe Thanksgiving is 2 weeks from tomorrow! I'm really excited about eating all the delicious food, but also spending it with our families. This will be our first Thanksgiving home since 2007.

I think fall is officially my favorite time of year. I forgot how pretty all the trees are this time of year and how nice it feels outside. Palm trees in the desert do not turn different colors and it doesn't cool off until Christmas!

Halloween and a baby!

I can't believe another Halloween has come and gone. We had a great time trick-or-treating. Our neighborhood was packed. I heard one person say that they had over 200 trick-or-treaters! Tyler didn't dress up, but he still walked with us, Bella was a snow princess, and Finley was a witch without her hat (because she wouldn't wear it!). Finley didn't really understand what was going on at first. When someone would give her candy she would try and give them something back, but she got that hang of it after a few houses. She was exhausted by the time we got back home and actually asked to go to bed. I was worried that she wouldn't put her costume on, but she loved it so much that she wore it all day yesterday too!

this is what it is like trying to take a picture of Finley, she is never still!

                                                             Cheese!

We also found out what we are having yesterday! We are waiting until Thanksgiving to tell everyone. We are going to do a special dessert to reveal the sex to our families. Hopefully I can go that long without slipping up. This baby is already super active. The tech had to chase it around my stomach while doing the ultrasound. That reminds me A LOT of Finley! She moved constantly while I was pregnant and has never slowed down!

Here it is waving at us :)
 A little foot

It looks like a little alien!

                                                            18 weeks

Everything looked good on the ultrasound. It weighs a whopping 9 ounces!
