Finley and I went to boot camp this morning. It's called baby boot camp because you bring your baby and they can play or hang out in their strollers and you run several times so you push them around while you do that. It works out good for me since I don't have any one that can watch Finley and I think she enjoyed it. I really liked the instructor (drill sargent as Jason called her), she was a little Asian women with AWESOME legs and lots of energy! I'm already feeling sore so that tells you how out of shape I am. But you know what, I REALLY HATE EXERCISING!!! I'm not sure why because I was always active as a kid. I played sports and danced my whole life. Jason gets up every single morning and runs, or swims, or rides his bike and he loves doing all of that, and I just want to punch him in the face while I sit on the couch! Just kidding, I don't hardly ever get to sit on the couch. With three kids there is always something that needs to be done so isn't that good enough? Do I have to go out and do some other form of torture? I ran a pretty good bit until we moved to Arizona. I didn't like it. Jason wanted me to do it with him. He thought it would be fun and something we could do together, but he always ran off and left me! I did like how how my legs looked though. We did several 5k's together and I did always feel good when I finished. Maybe I should just force myself to start running again. I want to be healthy and I want my kids to see that we are healthy so they will want to be healthy too. I just wish there was some way to get healthy while sitting in front of the computer looking at Facebook and eating a hamburger and fries!
Finley ready for boot camp!
"I just wish there was some way to get healthy while sitting in front of the computer looking at Facebook and eating a hamburger and fries!"... pure genius! When you figure that out let me know! Bahahahahaha!! I hate running, but love the way I feel when I'm done. Just like I like a clean house, but hate to clean..... I know, I don't make sense.
