A little sad

Sunday we took Megan to San Francisco. We drove along the coast, over the Golden Gate bridge, through Golden Gate park, the Castro and Haight/Ashbury district. Then we went to Pier 39 for lunch at Boudin Sourdough Bakery. We walked around the pier and visited some of the shops. We saw a ton of sea lions on some of the docks.

Everything is back to normal today. Jason went back to work today. My sister left yesterday morning and it always makes me sad. You would think after 2 1/2 years of living out of state I would be used to it by now, but every time she leaves we both get teary eyed (or sometimes we just flat out cry like two year olds). It's definitely better now, but I'm not sure if I will ever get used to being away from all of my family.

Bella has had a pretty high fever yesterday afternoon and this morning. I think I'm going to give her until tomorrow before I take her to the doctor. It's probably just a fever virus because she has no other symptoms.

Tyler has his second basketball game yesterday and it was close, but they lost by one point.

I cannot believe that today is March 1st!!

It's supposed to start raining AGAIN tomorrow, but at least it's a little bit warmer.

  1. Too bad it's not the Winter before the "Summer of Love" otherwise Megan would have totally had to stay at Haight. Being the young hipster that she is. Relish in that sisterly bond. When Brian lived in Brazil that is exactly what would happen to us - only I'd be the only one crying like a baby and he'd be looking at me embarrassingly as to say "turn off the waterworks, sis - please!" ha ha. Finley looks so much like you it's surreal.
